Mr. Donnie Phillip Williams

Mr. Donnie Phillip Williams of 3531 Dufford Street, Newberry, SC entered into Eternal rest on June 1, 2017 at Palmetto Health Richland Hospital in Columbia, SC.  He was born March 20, 1957 in Prosperity, SC to the late Mr. Foster Williams, Sr. and the late Mrs. Ethel Lee Williams.

He was a member of Saint Mark A.M.E. Church in Pomaria, SC.

Mr. Williams was an avid fan of the New York Jets, enjoyed fishing, watching WWE wrestling and loved being in the presence of children.

He retired from the Newberry Housing Authority.

Mr. Williams was predeceased by a daughter, Deundra Shanay Williams.

Those who celebrate his life and cherish precious and loving memories include two sons, Adonnis Williams and Quadarian Williams, both of Newberry, SC; one daughter, Sha’Dymond Trapp of Pomaria, SC; one grandson, Kentedric Williams; two brothers, Foster Williams, Jr. (Eva) of Irmo, SC and Stanley Williams (Pamela) of Bronx, New York; one sister, Annette Lane (Malverse) of Pomaria, SC; and nieces, nephews, cousins and a devoted friend, Jessica Davidson and friends.

The family will receive friends at the home (3531 Dufford Street, Newberry)

Funeral service and burial will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Thursday, June 8, 2017 at Saint Mark A.M.E. Church in Pomaria, SC (viewing one hour prior to the service).
