Mr. Horace Reeder

Mr. Horace Reeder, 65, entered into Eternal rest on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at the Hospice House of Laurens County in Clinton, SC. He was born in Newberry County, SC on December 22, 1951 to the late Bessie L. Reeder and the late Hack McMorris.

Those who celebrate his life and cherish precious and loving memories are two sons, Quentin Rainey and Mike Mays both of Laurens, SC; one daughter, Tracy Rainey of Charlotte, NC; four grandchildren; one brother, Anthony Reeder of Korea; two sisters, Mae Ruth Reeder of Chappells, SC and Angela A. Davis of Fountain Inn, SC; cousins reared in the home, Jocelyn Brown, Steve Brown (Yvonne), Donna Turner (Victor) and Kevin Brown; three devoted aunts, Effie Simpson (Lewis) of Joanna, SC, Kattie Toland (Joe) of Clinton, SC and Annie Mae Brown of Chappells, SC and four other aunts, Daisy Mae Smoot (Harold) and Lula Ree Crawford all of Cross Hill, SC, Janice Wilson (Larry) and Deborah Langford all of Newberry, SC; a devoted uncle, James Reeder (Bessie) of Cross Hill, SC and four other uncles, Otis Langford (Linda), Ronald Langford (Rosa) and Gregory Langford (Doris) all of Newberry, SC and Alvin Smith of Chappells, SC; several nieces, nephews, cousins including two devoted cousins, Stanley Reeder and John Henry Reeder and friends including a special phone friend, Mrs. Ora Bell Cunningham of Cross Hill, SC.

Funeral service and burial will be held 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, January 22, 2017 at Saint Vaughville Baptist Church, 2127 Salter Road, Chappells, SC 29037.
