Mr. James Arthur Jerry

Mr. James Arthur Jerry, 87, of 532 Westwood, Drive, Chapin, South Carolina entered into the arms of Jesus on Monday, October 17, 2016 at Palmetto Health Richland Hospital in Columbia, SC. He was born in Monetta, SC to the late Lillie Mae Jerry.

Mr. Jerry was a World War II United States Army veteran and was also employed by Nassau Hospital in Mineola New York.

He was a member of Providence A.M.E. Church in Little Mountain, SC.

Those who celebrate his life and cherish precious and loving memories are his devoted wife, Mrs. Mary Lou Caughman Jerry of the home; one daughter, Barbara A. Jerry of New York, NY; four grandchildren; two brothers, Jerold Jerry of New York and Sam Jerry of Georgia; sister-in-law, Pearline Caughman of Baltimore, Maryland; one brother-in-law, Earl Caughman of Denver, Colorado; and nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral service and burial will be conducted 1:00 p.m. on Friday, October 21, 2016 at Providence A.M.E. Church in Little Mountain, SC (viewing one hour prior to the service).
