Mr. James Earl Sims

Mr. James Earl Sims, of 8357 Broad River Road, Pomaria, South Carolina, was the son of the late Mr. Albert Sims and the late Annie Laura Suber Sims, in Pomaria, South Carolina. He entered into the arms of Jesus on Sunday, March 5, 2017 at his residence.

He was a member of Saint Mark A.M.E. Church and was also a member of the Sons of Aid Society Lodge No. 46.

Mr. Sims was predeceased by four brothers, Grady F. Sims, William Sims, Robert Lee Sims and Howard J. Sims.

Those who celebrate his life and cherish precious and loving memories are two brothers, Willie Albert Sims of Knoxville, Tennessee and Paul D. Sims of Newberry, SC; two sisters, Eva Curry (John) of Pomaria, SC and Mary Johnson (Reginald) of Irmo, SC one uncle, James Suber (Thomasina) of Newberry and nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.   

Funeral service and burial will be conducted 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 11, 2017 at Saint Mark A.M.E. Church in Pomaria, SC. (viewing one hour prior to the service).
