Mr. Johnnie B Boyd

Mr. Johnnie B. Boyd, entered into Eternal rest on January 22, 2018 at his residence in New York, New York. He was born on March 1, 1936 in Prosperity, SC, to the late Mr. Jessie R. Boyd and the late Mrs. Maude Ruff Boyd.

He was a member of the Sons of Aid Society Lodge # 60.

Mr. Boyd was predeceased by one son, James Cleaven Boyd, sisters, Sedebra Boyd, Elizabeth B. Gallman and Alice B. Johnson; brother, Terry Boyd; brothers-in-law, Sylvester Jones, T.C. Gallman, Emanuel Johnson and Jerry Williams. 

Those who celebrate his life and cherish precious and loving memories include his wife, Mrs. Eddie Mae Suber Boyd, Newberry, SC; three loving daughters, Margaret Boyd, Newberry, SC, Cynthia Boyd Samuel (Tyrone), Columbia, SC and Troxie Boyd of Newberry, SC; three sons, Johnnie Earl Boyd of Washington, DC, Lonnie Boyd (Shelia), Blair, SC and Daniel Etheridge, Washington, DC; 13 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; brothers, Willie R. Boyd (Arnetta), Newberry, SC, James M. Boyd, Silverstreet, SC and Zachery L. Boyd (Twanda), Newberry, SC; sisters, Delores Jones, Martha A. Boyd and Annette B. Kinsler (Robert), all of Prosperity, SC, Shirley B. Rutherford (Joe Louis), Pomaria, SC, Bertha B. Kessler (Collins), Chapin, SC, Mattie B. Williams and Bonnie B. Holley (Bernard), both of Newberry, SC; three brothers-in-law; two sisters-in-law; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.   

A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 18, 2018 at Wilson Funeral Home.
