Mr. Sam Person Suber, Sr.

Mr. Sam Person Suber, Sr. of 2425 Holloway Street, Newberry, South Carolina entered into the arms of Jesus on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at Newberry County Memorial Hospital. He was born in Newberry, SC to the late Mr. Adam and the late Mrs. Magnolia Mathis Suber.

He was preceded to Heaven by one daughter, Cerlecia “Lisa” Suber and three brothers, James Allen Suber, Roosevelt Suber and John Junior Nance. 

Those who celebrate his life and cherish precious and loving memories are his wife, Mrs. Betty Burton Suber of the home; four sons, Sam Person Suber, Jr. (Patricia) of Chapin, SC, Benjamin Odell Suber (Janie) of Newberry, SC, Michael Suber (Wanda) of Norcross, Georgia and Mickey James Suber of the home; seven grandchildren including a grandson reared in the home, Carrton Suber ; six great grandchildren including one great grandson reared in the home, Quallett Suber; one brother, Odell Suber of Woonsocket, Rhode Island; two sisters-in-law, Thomasina Suber and Elizabeth Suber both of Woonsocket, Rhode Island and Betty Jean Suber of Sacramento, California; and nieces, nephews, cousins and friends including a devoted friend, Cecil Hentz.

Funeral service will be conducted 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at Saint John Baptist Church, 5614 Hwy 219, Newberry, SC (viewing one hour prior to the service). Burial will follow in Newberry Memorial Gardens.
