Mr. Shannon Terrell Caughman

Mr. Shannon Terrell Caughman affectionally known as “Shank”, of 2605 Pine Street, Newberry, South Carolina entered into Eternal rest on Tuesday, August 1, 2017. He was born in Newberry, SC on September 12, 1987 to Ms. Sylvia Caughman and the late Mr. Vivian Cofield.

Those who celebrate his life and cherish precious and loving memories include his mother, Mrs. Sylvia Caughman of Newberry, SC; fiancée, CaShetta Thompson; a daughter, Megan Caughman; step daughter, Trevionna; brothers, Dedrick Caughman (Ashley) of Newberry, SC, Corey Cook and Xavier Williams, both of Cross Hill, SC, Tray Ferguson and Cheytuan Cofield, both of Clinton, SC, Sean Miller of Laurens, SC, Decems Cofield of Spartanburg, SC and Bernard Cofield (Cheryl) of Fountain Inn, SC; sisters, Riviara Caughman (John) of Newberry, SC,  Angela Copeland (Knikia), Twanisha Cofield and Cherakee Darby, all of Clinton, SC, Latoria Cunningham (Jason) of Honea Path, SC and Alexus Miller of Laurens, SC; 9 aunts; 8 uncles; a God brother, Keith Joiner and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends including two devoted friends, Tyrus Strother and Antonio Watts.

The family will receive friends at the home of his mother, Ms. Sylvia Caughman (2605 Pine Street, Newberry, SC).

Funeral service will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at Saint Matthew Baptist Church, 61 Boundary Street, Newberry, SC (viewing one hour prior to the service). Burial will follow in Elisha A.M.E. Church Cemetery in Newberry, SC.
