Mrs. Virginia Inez Chapman of 1006 Woodridge Lane of Newberry, South Carolina entered into the arms of Jesus on Saturday, November 26, 2016 at Palmetto Health Richland Hospital in Columbia, SC. Born in Gloucester, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Mr. Francis Corbin and the late Mrs. Vastile Ellis Corbin.
She was employee of Burger King Restaurant for 24 years.
Those who celebrate her life and cherish precious and loving memories include her devoted husband of 33 years, Senius Chapman, Jr.; step-son, Juan Williams (Shondeeka) of Chester, SC; step-daughter, Alicia Renee Haan of Waco, Texas; three brothers, Richard and Thomas Corbin both of Gloucester, Virginia and Madison Corbin of New Port News, Virginia; two sisters, Brenda Sparks and Carol Corbin both of Gloucester, Virginia; three brothers-in-law, Bobby Joe Chapman (Barbara), Melvin Chapman (Beverly) all of Newberry, SC and Charles Chapman of Minnesota; three sisters-in-law, Lenora Eichelberger of Newberry, SC, Loretta Shell (Curtis) of Chapin, SC and Christine Corbin of Gloucester, Virginia and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The family will receive friends at the home (1006 Woodridge Lane, Newberry, SC).
Viewing will be Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at Wilson Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 3, 2016 at First Baptist Church in Gloucester, Virginia. Arrangements are under the direction of Wilson Funeral Home of Newberry and Whiting’s Funeral Home in Williamsburg, Virginia.
