Mrs. Willie Mae Collins

Mrs. Willie Mae Wallington Collins, 78, of 61l Road 99, Blair, South Carolina entered into the arms of Jesus on Sunday, January 31, 2016 at Palmetto Health Richland Hospital in Columbia, SC.  She was born in Blair, South Carolina, to the late Mr. Willie Wallington and the late Mrs. Alvener Wallington.

She was a member of Gethsemane Baptist Church in Blair, SC.

She was a graduate of Camp Liberty School of Blair, SC.

She retired from Fairfield County Council on Aging of 19 years. 

Mrs. Collins was preceded to Heaven by one brother, Howard Waldington and devoted companion, Raymond Fant.

Those who celebrate her life and cherish precious and loving memories are three sons, Ernest Collins (Clover) and Alphonso Collins all of Blair, SC and James Collins of Occela, Florida; four daughters, Yvette Collins and Ruby Collins both of Blair, SC, Meta Collins of Newberry, SC and Von (Paollo) of Columbia, SC; 17 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; one brother, Lenzy Wallington (Laura) of Blair, SC; a sister-in-law, Lucille Waldington of Blair, SC; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends including a devoted friend, Deborah Woodard.

Funeral service will be conducted at 12:00 noon on Thursday, February 4, 2016 at Saint Matthew Baptist Church, 61 Boundary Street, Newberry, SC (viewing one hour prior to the service). Burial will follow in Gethsemane Baptist Church Cemetery in Blair, SC.
