Ms Direatha Gallman

Ms. Direatha Gallman, 51, of 201 Church Street, Prosperity, South Carolina entered into the arms of Jesus on Friday, September 18, 2015 at Self Regional Medical Center in Greenwood, SC. She was born March 29, 1964 in Prosperity, SC to the late Mr. Robert Lee Gallman, Sr. and the late Mrs. Catherine Edwards Gallman.

She was a member of Lever Chapel AME Church in Prosperity, SC.

Ms. Gallman was predeceased by three brothers, Clarence Gallman, Larry Gallman and Fleming Gallman.

Those who celebrate her life and cherish precious and loving memories are a devoted friend and companion, Darryl Wise of the home; seven sisters, Essie Turner (Bill) of Jersey City, New Jersey, Betty Houston of Newberry, SC, Shirley Wicker of Prosperity, SC, Kathy Grant (Derwood) of Irving, NJ, Judy Williams (Olin)  Marie Wise (Earl) and Martha Ann Kinsler (Jessie) all of Prosperity, SC; one brother, Robert Lee Gallman, Jr. of Newberry, SC; two uncles, Jack Edwards and Johnnie Edwards both of Newberry, SC; two aunts, Diane Caldwell of Newberry, SC and Vera Gallman of Prosperity, SC and a host of nieces including a devoted niece, Martha Kayla Kinsler of Prosperity, SC, nephews, cousins and friends.

The family will receive friends at the home (201 Church Street, Prosperity, SC)

Funeral service and burial will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at Lever Chapel AME Church (376 Lever Chapel Road, Prosperity, SC). (Viewing one hour prior to the service).
