Ms. Polly Ann Koon

 Ms. Polly Ann Koon, 69, of 4035 Kings Drive, Newberry, South Carolina entered into the arms of Jesus on Sunday, September 06, 2015 at her residence. She was born June 16, 1946 in Newberry County to the late Mr. Willie Albert Koon and the late Mrs. Rosa Mae Gladney Koon.

She was a member of Saint James A.M.E Church and also a member of the Woman’s Home Aid Society.

Those who celebrate her life and cherish precious and loving memories are seven sons, Leonard Wilcox, Anthony Koon, Leo Gordon, Derrick Gordon (Shakima), Fabian Koon, Demetris Koon all of Newberry, SC and Danny Koon of New York, New York; one brother, Adolphus Koon (Jennifer) of Newberry, SC; six sisters, Dorries Nelson (Deloyde) of Prosperity, SC, Margaret Goree (Robert), Pricilla Henderson, Hixsey Burton, Teresa Sanders (James) all of Newberry, SC and Julia Barnes of Shelby, NC and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The family will receive friends at the home (4035 Kings Drive, Newberry, SC)

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Friday, September 11, 2015 at Saint James A.M.E Church in Pomaria, SC. (Viewing one hour prior to the service.) Burial will follow in Newberry Memorial Gardens.
