 Henry Lee Johnson, of 25884 US Hwy 76, Newberry, SC, entered into Eternal rest on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at his residence. He was born September 2, 1984 in Newberry, SC, to Mrs. Dorothy J. Ellis Johnson and the late Mr. James Henry Johnson, Sr.

He attended Belmont Baptist Church in Silverstreet, SC.

Henry was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Mr. Joe Ellis, Sr.; paternal grandparents, Mr. Albert Lee Johnson, Sr. and Mrs. Willie Mae Johnson; 5 uncles; and two aunts.

Those who celebrate his life and cherish precious and loving memories are his mother, Mrs. Dorothy J. Ellis Johnson, Newberry, SC; two sisters, Kimbalee J. Baker (Tremenous), Newberry, SC, Olivia Williams (Willie), Clinton, SC; two brothers, James Henry Johnson, Jr. (Bobbi Shay) and Timothy Johnson (Demetraile), both of Clinton, SC; maternal grandmother, Mrs. Annie Mae Ellis, Newberry, SC; 5 uncles, Joe Dennis Ellis, Jr., Laurens, SC, Eddie Ray Ellis (Teresa) and Barry Lewis Ellis, both of Newberry, SC, Charles Ellis, Columbia, SC and Albert Lee Johnson, Jr., Laurens, SC; 8 aunts, Mary Ann Ellis, Newberry, SC, Eva Mae Floyd (Arthur), Joanna, SC, Louise Brown, Laurens, SC, Nora Ellis, Aiken, SC, Sarah Ethel Houston, Clinton, SC, Susan Davis, Columbia, SC, Cindy Smith (James) and Rachael Mims, both of Laurens, SC; and nieces, including three nieces reared in the home, Cameron, Courtney and Tyniesha; nephews, cousins and friends.

The family will receive friends at the home of his sister, Kimbalee J. Baker (Tremenous),   Indian Land Apartments Apt. 1604, Newberry, SC.

Funeral service will be held 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February, 6, 2018 at Belmont Baptist Church, 301 Belmont Church Road, Silverstreet, SC (viewing one hour prior to the service). Burial will follow in Orchard Park Memorial Gardens, Clinton, SC.
