Miss Sharonda Shontay Sims of 54 Holleyberry Lane of Newberry, SC entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, September 17, 2019. She was born in Newberry, SC on October 21, 1978 to Mr. Willie James Sims, Jr. and Mrs. Martha Lee Feaster Sims.

She was a member of Gethsemane Baptist Church in Blair, SC.

Sharonda was an employee of Samsung as a machine operator.

She was predeceased by a paternal grandfather, Mr. Willie James Sims, Sr.; maternal grandfather, Mr. Leo Feaster; maternal grandmother, Mrs. Annie Mae Stone Feaster; three aunts, Carolyn Sims, Annie Eigner and Linda Suber.

Those who celebrate her life and cherish precious and loving memories include her parents, Mr. Willie James Sims, Jr. and Mrs. Martha Lee Feaster Sims; two sons, Cameron Carter of the home and Deandre Henley of Prosperity, SC; daughter, Armani Carter of the home; paternal grandmother, Mrs. Nora Lee Sims of Newberry, SC; one sister, Tekeyla Sims (Jesse) of Newberry, SC; two brothers, Willie Thompson Sims of Whitmire, SC and Ryan Jackson of Pomaria, SC; two aunts, Mischele Sims Trapp (Charles) of Blair, SC and Geraldine Sims Kibler (Willie) of Newberry, SC; four uncles, Kenneth Feaster, Melvin Sims, Calvin Sims of Newberry, SC and James Clyde Suber of Silverstreet, SC; six great aunts, Elouise Coleman of Shelton, SC, Etheree Anderson of Columbia, SC, Ruth Sims and Mary Byrd of Newberry, SC and Sara Glasgow (Henry) and Ruth Marshall of Columbia, SC; and nieces, including a special niece of the home, Heidyn Lee Sims; nephews, couisns and friends, including one friend, Keith Jonier.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. on Friday, September 20, 2019 at Gethsemane Baptist Church in Blair, SC. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
