Mr. Curtis Williams, Jr., affectionately known as “JuneCreep” and “Mr. Johnny Blow”, entered into Eternal Rest on Wednesday, March 7, 2018. He was born on July 14, 1959, in Prosperity, SC, to the late Curtis Williams, Sr., and the late Eva Ray Wheeler Williams.
He was predeceased by a sister, Virginia Nance, and a brother, Ricky Williams.
Those who celebrate his life and cherish precious and loving memories are two daughters, Tameka Wise of Prosperity, SC, and Jazzlyn Dorley of Little Mountain, SC; two grandchildren, Shyhem Mayers and Rayanna Coad; seven sisters, Gladys Reeder of Columbia, SC, Dorothy Wicker (Charles), Elizabeth Dewalt, Jonelle Williams, Maggie Williams, Eva Releford (Terron) and Teresa Williams (Louis) all of Prosperity, SC; a God sister, Margaret Ferguson (Mike) of Fountain Inn, SC; aunts, Betty Kinard and Lillie Ruff both of Prosperity, SC, and Arzelle Golson of Norristown, PA; uncles, John Sammie Ruff of Newberry, SC, James Raymond Ruff of Florida and Richie Ruff of Columbia, SC; one great-aunt, Florence Stoudemire of Prosperity, SC; one great-uncle, Mackie Stoudemire of Prosperity, SC; six nieces, Glenda, Tracie, Shante, Kessa, Samari and Chardnae; seven nephews, Freddie, Colie, George, Gary, Patrick, Rashod and Tremarous; thirty-one great-nieces and nephews, including a devoted great-niece, Shimear Williams; and a host of cousins including a devoted cousin, Tony Kinard, and friends who will sadly miss him.
Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 11, 2018 at Oak Grove Presbyterian Church in Prosperity, SC. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
