Mr. James Edward Allen

Mr. James Edward Allen of 35 Dobe Drive, Silverstreet, South Carolina entered into Eternal rest on Friday, May 26, 2017 at his residence. Born December 22, 1940 in Silverstreet, SC, he was the son of the late Mr. Willie M. Allen and the late Mrs. Fair Bell Fortune Allen.

He was a member of Little River Baptist Church in Silverstreet, SC.

Mr. Allen was a self-employed auto mechanic.

His wife, a sister and a brother preceded him to Heaven.

Those who celebrate his life and cherish precious and loving memories are two daughters, Rebecca A. Allen and Janice Allen both of Silverstreet, SC; two grandchildren, Christopher Allen- Gadson (Angelica) and Breana Allen- Gadson; three great grandchildren, Adylyn, Cannon and Madysen; Goddaughter, Letha M. Davis of Greenwood, SC; three brothers, Mack W. Allen (Doris) and Charles L. Allen (Alberta) all of Silverstreet, SC and Jessie F. Allen (Lucille) of Cross Hill, SC; two brothers-in-law, Van Eason (Betty) of Louisiana and Wilbert Eason (Catherine) of Woonsocket, RI; one sister-in-law, Carrie B. Edwards (Arthur) of Metter, Georgia; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral service will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at Little River Baptist Church in Silverstreet, SC (viewing one hour prior to the service).
