Mr. Jesse Frank Davenport

Mr. Jesse Frank Davenport, of 1862 Brookside Manor, Newberry, SC entered into Eternal rest on October 23, 2017 at his residence. He was born November 16, 1957 in Silverstreet, SC to the late Mr. Bennie Davenport, Sr. and the late Mrs. Lizzell Scurry Davenport.

He was a truck driver for many years.

Those who celebrate his life and cherish precious and loving memories are two sons, Jesse Frank Mines and Gary Mines (Latifia), both of Philadelphia, PA; one daughter, Tashena D. Wise (Dominic) of Newberry, SC; two grandchildren, Tarlaysia Reed and Amis Glenn, both of Newberry, SC; 5 brothers, Bennie Davenport, Jr. (Joann) and David Davenport, both of Newberry, SC, Randell Davenport (Tassie) of Silverstreet, SC, Billy Ralph Davenport of South Bend, Indiana and Robert Lee Davenport (Renee) of Philadelphia, PA; one sister, Lizzie Mae Davenport (Osie) of Newberry, SC; and a host of nieces, including a devoted niece, Coretta Davenport; nephews, cousins and friends.    

The family will be receiving friends at the home (1862 Brookside Manor, Newberry, SC).

Funeral service will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Saturday, October 28, 2017 at Saint Matthew Baptist Church, 61 Boundary Street, Newberry, SC (viewing one hour prior to the service).
