Mr. John Henry Reeder, II was born on April 27, 1957 to Mr. Lewis Simpson, Jr. and the late Mrs. Effie Reeder Simpson. He entered into Eternal rest on Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at McCall Hospice House in Simpsonville, South Carolina.

He was a member of Saint Vaughnville Baptist Church. He was a man of strong faith.  He also enjoyed playing his guitar, singing, dancing and spending time with family.

Mr. Reeder was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys.

His devoted friend and cousin, Horace Reeder, preceded in death.

LeeAngle Williams (Tony) of Fountain Inn, SC, Jajuana Smoot and Kanesha Franklin, both of Laurens, SC; 5 sons, Jonus Tribble (Varquetta) Greer, SC, Marlon Tribble of California, Aresenio Smoot of Simpsonville, SC, Antonio Cheeks, Sr. of Clinton, SC and Dachavuis Goggans of Mountville, SC; 18 grandchildren, Takira, Leah, Tianna and Tony Williams, Jr., Jalon Roberson, Ocean Thomas, Jada, Kali and Ivan Tribble, Jarae and Titus Smoot, Josiah Robinson, Aaliyah Franklin, Ty and Shania Sims, Lamarcus, Antonio Cheeks, Jr. and Saeuna Cheeks; 10 sisters, Cheryl Simpson of Columbia, SC, Dianne Simpson, Andrea Simpson, Lisa Simpson, Regina Mims, Deborah Burns, Lillie Pearl Williams, Donna Fincher (Voyd) and Leomia Butler (James), all of Clinton, SC and Lahomia Ekeh (Frances) of Laurens, SC; 5 brothers, Stanley Reeder (Mary), Willie Mims (Denise), Raymond Reid (Azalee) and Charles Simpson, all of Clinton, SC and Keith Mims of Greensboro, NC; 10 uncles, James Reeder (Bessie Mae) of Cross Hill, SC, Alvin Smith of Chappells, SC, Otis Langford (Linda), Gregory Langford (Doris) and Ronald Langford (Rose), all of Newberry, SC, Johnnie Simpson, Jacob Simpson (Rosilee), Donald Simpson (Ernestine), James Simpson (Patricia) and Calvin Simpson (Tina), all of Clinton, SC; 11 aunts, Katie Toland (Joe), Lillie Mae Anderson (Thomas), Betty Robinson (Nathaniel) and Linda Sanders, all of Clinton, SC, Lula Crawford and Daisy Smoot (Harold) Smoot of Cross Hill, SC, Deborah Langford and Janice Wilson (Larry), both of Newberry, SC, Louise Simpson of Laurens, SC, Carrie Long of Spartanburg, SC and Annie Mae Brown of Chappells, SC; one great aunt, Lucinda Simmons of Clinton, SC; and nieces, including a devoted niece, LaTonya Simpson; nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral service and burial will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at Saint Vaughnville Baptist Church, 2127 Salter Road, Chappells, SC (viewing one hour prior to the service).
