Mr. Moses Lee Hare

Mr. Moses Lee Hare of 228 Dominick Street, Prosperity, South Carolina entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, November 5, 2019 at his residence. He was born in Prosperity, SC on October 23, 1951 to the late Mr. William Lee Wise and the late Mrs. Hattie Rose Hare Sims.

Moses was a member of Mount Moriah A.M.E. Church where he was a member of the choir and served as a Trustee. He was also a member of the Sons of Aid Society Lodge # 14.

Those who celebrate his life and cherish fond and loving memories include five sons, Lajohnda Glasgow (Francesca) of Prosperity, SC, Ivan Monts of Columbia, SC, Kevin Monts of Newberry, SC, Rev. Moses Leon Drafts (Sherrie) of Batesburg-Leesville, SC and William Hare of Newberry, SC; three daughters, Sheila Mathis (Sean) of Conley, GA, Moslean Satterwhite (Mike) of Charlotte, NC and Yakina Blair of Newberry, SC; nineteen grandchildren; six great grandchildren; one brother, Tommie Sims (Cantona) of Pomaria, SC; two uncles, Fred Bowers of Washington, D.C. and James Hair (Vivian) of Prosperity, SC; three nephews, cousins and friends.

The family will receive friends at the home, 228 Dominick Street, Prosperity, SC.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 9, 2019 at Mount Moriah A.M.E. Church, 1628 Ira Kinard Road, Prosperity, SC. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
