Mr. Noland Goree

Mr. Noland Goree entered into Eternal rest on Friday, April 13, 2018 at Palmetto Health Richland Hospital in Columbia, SC. He was born on February 24, 1948 in Newberry County to the late Mr. Joseph Goree, Sr. and the late Mrs. Lucille Chaplin Goree.

Noland was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church and was a member of the Sons of Aid Society Lodge No. 57.

 He attended Gallman High School.

Noland was predeceased by one brother, Joseph Goree, Jr. and a sister, Minnie Goree Glover.

Those who celebrate his life and cherish precious and loving memories include his daughter, Francenia Hunter of Newberry, SC; two grandsons, Kevin Hunter and Desmond Hunter both of Newberry, SC; one great granddaughter, Kattleya; one sister, Margaret Goree Shuemate (Steven) of Brooklyn, NY; a special cousin reared in the home, Betty Dawkins of Madison, Tennessee and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  

Funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. on Friday, April 20, 2018 at Fellowship Baptist Church in Pomaria, SC (viewing one hour prior to the service). Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
