Mr. Willie James Bouknight

Mr. Willie James Bouknight of 55 Green Acres Road, Silverstreet, SC passed away on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at Self Regional Medical Center in Greenwood, SC. He was born January 9, 1949 in Silverstreet, SC to the late Mr. Jesse Bouknight and the late Mrs. Evalina Tribble Bouknight.

He was a member of Little River Baptist Church.

Willie retired from Marion Pitts Logging Company after thirty-seven years of service.

He was predeceased by two brothers, Joe Louis Bouknight and Henry Bouknight; sister-in-law, Thelma Bouknight; nephew, Brent Bouknight and niece, Queen Bouknight.

Those who celebrate his life and cherish precious and loving memories include two brothers, M.L. Bouknight and Nathaniel Bouknight, both of Silverstreet; three sisters, Jessie Byres and Mary Arnette, both of Lexington, NC and Mildred Bouknight of Silverstreet; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at Little River Baptist Church in Silverstreet. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
