Mr. Willie Joe "Pip" Robinson

Mr. Willie Joe Robinson affectionally known as “Pip” entered into eternal rest on Saturday, April 6, 2019 at Saluda Nursing Center in Saluda, SC. He was born in Saluda, SC to the late Mr. R.L. Robinson and the late Mrs. Linda Mobley Robinson.

He was a member of Lockhart Baptist Church and the Sons of Aid Society Lodge # 14. He was also a 1968 graduate of Riverside High School.

Those who celebrate his life and cherish precious and loving memories include his wife, Mrs. Lula Stoudemire Robinson of the home, three sons, Anthony Covington of Queen, NY, Ramin and Rashawn Wilkerson of Burlington, NC; two daughters, Hope Thompson of Greenville, SC, Tiesha Wright of Louisville, Kentucky; stepson, Willie Stoudemire of Norristown, PA; two children reared in the home, Joseph and Josephine Stoudemire; ten grandchildren; two great grandchildren; one brother, Willie L. Minick of Washington, D.C., four sisters, Rose Lassiter Hunter (Lee) of District Heights, MD, Lannie Robinson of Saluda, SC, Diane Bletcher of Greenwood, SC and Daisy Johnson of Norristown, PA; one aunt, Elizabeth Robinson of Saluda, SC; three sisters-in-law; two brothers-in-law; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends including a devoted friend and brother, Willie Abney.

The family will receive friends at the home, 201 Church Street lot 9-A, Prosperity, SC.

Funeral services and burial will be conducted 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 11, 2019 at Lockhart Baptist Church, 1772 Old Chappells Ferry Road, Saluda, SC 29138
