Mr. Willie Kirt Smith of 560 Springfield Road in Spartanburg, SC entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, May 1, 2019. He was born in Chappells, SC on December 28, 1949 to the late Mr. Willie James Smith and the late Mrs. Mildred Crump Williams Davenport.
Willie was a member of Maranatha Free Church of Jesus Christ in Spartanburg, SC.
He was employed with the Adams Old Castle Products as a fork lift operator.
Willie enjoyed washing and cleaning his truck.
He was predeceased by two brothers, Ralph Waldon and John Edward Smith; four sisters, Mary Lindsay, Jessie Moton, Renae Williams and Patricia Williams.
Those who celebrate his life and cherish precious and loving memories include his loving and devoted fiancée, Tammy Watts Smith of the home; two sons, Joseph Ian Cox of Greenville, SC and Stefan Alexander Smith of Washington, DC; two daughters, Stephanie White of Greenville, SC and Constance Grace Cox of Laurens, SC; five grandchildren; La’Ashia White, Fatima Hicks, Jeremiah Levi Cox, Aiden Simms Cox and Eli Landon Cox; one brother, L.B. Williams, Jr. (Brenda) of Silverstreet, SC; five sisters, Mary Suber, Mary J. Graham (Charles), Peggy Ann Williams and Darlene Williams, all of Silverstreet, SC and Jessie Lee Hendrix (James) of Easley, SC; one aunt, Elizabeth Waldon of Philadelphia, PA; special sister-in-law, Vanessa Watts of Greenville, SC; brother-in-law, Joe Moton; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The family will receive friends at the home of his daughter, Stephanie White, 30 Saluda Fern Court, Greenville, SC and his sister, Mary J. Graham (Charles), 24 Moses G. Lane, Silverstreet, SC.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at Little River Baptist Church in Silverstreet, SC. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
