Mrs. Betty Ann Hunter Lyles

Mrs. Betty Ann Hunter Lyles, of 125 Sid Eargle Road, Irmo, South Carolina entered into Eternal rest on October 1, 2017 at Lexington Medical Center in West Columbia, SC. She was born in Prosperity, SC on May 18, 1958 to the late Mr. Roosevelt Cunningham and the late Mrs. Willie Mae Hunter Cunningham.

 She was a member of Pine Grove A.M.E. Church in Little Mountain, SC and was also a member of Woman’s Home Aid Society Lodge # 97. Mrs. Lyles performed her daily duties and she was like a mother in the community.

She was married to the late Willie B. Lyles.

Mrs. Lyles was predeceased by one brother, Richard Bernard Cunningham.

Those who celebrate her life and cherish precious and loving memories are four brothers, Curtis Cunningham (Carol) of Irmo, SC, Tony of Atlanta, Georgia, Willie Cunningham (Valarie) of Irmo, SC and John Cunningham of Columbia, SC; three sisters, Rosemary East (Ricky) of Irmo, SC, Annette Caughman of Chapin, SC and Jennifer Caughman of Columbia, SC; 4 aunts; 10 uncles; three brothers-in-law; and nieces, including two devoted nieces, Shameka Cunningham and Tamika East; nephews; one great nephew, whom she dearly cherished, Isaiah East; a devoted companion, Calvin C. Robinson and family including Pearl Huggins (James), Ann Pollock (Cedrick), Kittie Wise (Larry), Elese Gardner; cousins and friends.  

The family will receive friends at the home (125 Sid Eargle Road, Irmo, SC).

Funeral service and burial will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 8, 2017 at Pine Grove A.M.E. Church, 12420 Broad River Road, Little Mountain, SC 29075.
