Mrs. Joe Ann Moon Wise

Mrs. Joe Ann Moon Wise, affectionally Known as “Granny” of 193 Rikard School Road, Prosperity, SC entered into Eternal rest Monday, October 22, 2018 at her residence.  Born in Prosperity, SC, she was the daughter of the late Mr. Jasper "Mook" Moon and the late Mrs. Artie Stephens Moon.

She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church in Prosperity.  She served as secretary of the Missionary Society, was a member of the Usher Board Choir and the New Generation Choir.  She was also a member of the Woman's Home Aid Society Lodge #59 and served as secretary.

She was predeceased by her husband, Henry B. Wise; one son, Kevin Wise; a granddaughter, La Quinta Smith; three brothers, LS Moon, Henry Lee Moon and James Edward Moon and three sisters, Dorothy Moon Long, Brunell Johnson and Carolyn Davenport

Those who celebrate her life and cherish loving memories are two sons, Anthony Wise (Pauline) of Irmo, SC and Earl Wise of Whitmire, SC; three daughters, Linda Shepherd (George) of Prosperity SC,  Traci Wise of Prosperity, SC, and Gloria Smith of the home; seventeen grandchildren; thirty-eight great grandchildren; ten great great grandchildren; one daughter-in-law, Marie Wise; five sisters-in-law; two brothers-in-law; and nieces including a devoted niece, Mrs. Jacqueline Moon Wise, nephews, cousins and friends.

The family will receive friends at the home, 193 Rikard School Road, Prosperity, SC.

Funeral service will be held 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at Antioch Baptist Church (viewing one hour prior to the service). Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
