Mrs. Jonell Wicker Holley, formerly of 671 Old Lexington Hwy, Chapin, SC entered into Eternal rest on Saturday, September 8, 2018. She was born on November 16, 1953 in Lexington County, SC to the late Mr. Freddie Lee Wicker and the late Mrs. Jessie Lee Hannie Wicker.
She was a member of Mount Zion A.M.E. Church.
Jonell was an employee of Lexington County School District One Middle School for twenty years.
Jonell was predeceased by two brothers, William and Gary Wicker; and one brother-in-law, John Funderburk.
Those who celebrate her life and cherish precious and loving memories, her husband, Mr. Calvin O’Neal Holley; two daughters, Dee Dee Sulton of Lexington, SC and Krystal Frazier (Chris) of Beaufort, SC; six grandchildren, ShaQuille, Shadejdria, SaNyiah, JacQuez, Xzoriona and Ariel; two great grandchildren, Ca Mariana and Kayden; four brothers, Charles Wicker (Dorothy), David Wicker (Corene) and Henry Wise, all of Prosperity, SC and Louis Wicker of Chapin, SC; seven sisters, Mattie Dorley of Sumter, SC, Rebecca Hall (Donell) of Pomaria, SC, Annette Dreher (Elmer) of Chapin, SC, Marion Mayers of Batesburg, SC, Gwenette Dreher (Eric) of Washington, DC, Mary S. Funderburk of Columbia, SC and Ruby Dreher (Gary) of Chapin, SC; two aunts, Mrs. Jestine Tobe and Mrs. Willie Lee Clark, both of Little Mountain, SC; God mother, Mrs. Mary Sims of Irmo, SC; sister-in-law, Shirley Wicker of Prosperity, SC; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, including a devoted friend, Mamie Gates.
The family will receive friends at the home (671 Old Lexington Hwy, Chapin, SC).
Funeral service will be conducted 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at Mount Zion A.M.E. Church in Little Mountain, SC. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
