Mrs. Nomesenia Gallman Bishop, 83, of 2313 Holloway Street, Newberry, South Carolina entered into Eternal Rest on Sunday, May 29, 2016 at her residence. She was born in Newberry, SC to the late Mr. James Gallman and the late Mrs. Inez Williams Gallman.
She was a member of Saint John Baptist Church in Newberry, SC.
Mrs. Bishop was preceded to Heaven by her husband, Hoover Bishop; two daughters, Linda Faye Bishop and Ojetta Bishop; two sisters, Lucy Mae Gallman and Andrenia Gallman Gray and one brother, James Henry Gallman.
Those who celebrate her life and cherish precious and loving memories are two daughters, Darnell B. Hare (Frank) and Carolyn B. Rhodes (Sammie) all of Newberry, SC; 6 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; two brothers, Grady Gallman (Ida) of Philadelphia, PA and Ernest Gallman of Columbia, SC; two sisters, Mildred Burton (John) of Philadelphia, PA and Evorn Douglas of Newberry, SC; two sisters-in-law, Betty Mathis of Greenwood, SC and Maggie Gallman Burton of Newberry, SC; two brothers-in-law, Alexander Johnson (Ida) of Maryland and Jake Free; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 P.M. on Friday, June 3, 2016 at Bethlehem Baptist Church, 1501 College Street, Newberry, SC (viewing one hour prior to the service). Burial will follow in Newberry Memorial Gardens.
