Mrs. Rosa Mae Glenn

Mrs. Rosa Mae Glenn of 3644 Dogwood Terrace Apt. 17-B, Newberry, SC entered into eternal rest on Thursday, January 10, 2019 at Hospice of Laurens County in Clinton, SC. She was born in Newberry, SC on April 6, 1957 to Mrs. Mary Ellen Bates Rikard and the late Mr. D.S. Rikard.

She was predeceased by her husband, Willie Cephus Glenn, Jr.; adopted parents, Mr. J.L. and Jessie Lee Lindsay; sister, Margaret Rikard and three brothers, Jerry Bates, James "Duke" Sligh and Clarence Brown.

Those who celebrate her life and cherish precious and loving memories include her mother, Mrs. Mary Ellen Bates Rikard and stepfather, Mr. Sammy Singley of Newberry, SC; brothers, George Ray Rikard (Barbara) and Robert Rikard, both of Newberry, SC and David Sease of Greenville, SC; sisters, Belinda Bates and Marie Rikard of Newberry, SC and Mary Mayers of Michigan; one uncle, Mr. J.P. Toland of Prosperity, SC and several nieces, including a devoted niece and caregiver, Pamela Graham; nephews, cousins and friends.

The family will receive friends at the home of her mother and stepfather (2405 Scyamore Drive, Newberry).

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at Saint Matthew Baptist Church, 61 Boundary Street, Newberry, SC.
