Ms. Gwendell Suber

Mrs. Gwendell Suber, daughter of the late Gracie Suber Hatchett was born May 7, 1949. She was raised in the home of her aunt, Mrs. Minnie Suber. She entered into the arms of Jesus on Thursday, August 16, 2018, at Newberry Memorial Hospital, Newberry, South Carolina.

She received her education in the schools of Drayton Street Elementary and was a graduate of Gallman High School, class of 1967. She went on to receive her degree from Voorhees College.

She made her home in Greenville, SC, where she was employed by Michelin Tires as a Lab Technician for thirty-five years.

She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and a member of the Woman’s Home Aid Society Lodge No. 61.

Those who celebrate her life and cherish her loving memories include her loving aunt, Mrs. Minnie Suber of Newberry, SC; a devoted cousin, Larry Suber (Margaret) of Newberry, SC; and a host of other relatives and devoted friends, including Lonnie Worthy and Mary and Sammie Graham.

The family will receive friends at the home (911 Horseshoe Circle, Newberry, SC).

Funeral service will be conducted 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at Calvary Baptist Church in Newberry, SC. Burial will follow in Newberry Memorial Gardens.
