Ms. Malina Schentia Clark

Ms. Malina Schentia Clark entered into Eternal rest on Saturday, January 13, 2018. She was born April 3, 1973, in Newberry County to Mrs. Carrie Mathis Clark and the late Willie Thomas Clark.

Ms. Clark was a graduate of Newberry High School class of 1991. Ms. Clark continued her education and received a certificate in Event Planning. Ms. Clark owned and operated Schentia Event Planning and was a Sales Associate for Avon.

Preceding her in death are her father, Mr. Willie Thomas Clark; one brother, Ricky Eleazer; and three sisters, Diane Cockel, Valerie Eleazer and Angela Cannon.

Those who celebrate her life and cherish precious and loving memories include her mother, Mrs. Carrie Mathis Clark of Newberry, SC; one son, De’Vante’ Shaquille Davenport of Newberry, SC; three grandchildren, Kaleigh, Kaylee and Ikie all of Prosperity, SC; three brothers, Randy Clark (Theressa) of Blythewood, SC,

Thomas Boozer of Newberry, SC, and Willie McCante of Winston- Salem, NC; four sisters, JoAnn Smith (Randy), Malissa Clark and Tasha Floyd all of Newberry, SC, and Malissa McCante of Winston-Salem, NC; five aunts, Jacquelyn (Billy) Robinson, Vernette Abrams (Leroy), Beverly Brown (Charles) and Carolyn Rogers all of Newberry, SC and Ruby Langford of Silverstreet, SC; two uncles, Robert Goree (Margret) and John Rogers both of Newberry, SC; three nieces, Rev. Latasha Rutherford (Donald), Jazzma Eleazer and Monquie Cannon all of Newberry, SC; two nephews, Joseph Wicker (Quanzetta) of Canal Winchester, OH, and Edrick Cockel of Newberry, SC; a devoted friend, Ms. Betty Brown of Greenville, SC; and a host of loving family and friends.

Funeral service will be conducted 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. January 20, 2018 At Little River Baptist Church (viewing one hour prior to the service).
