Ms. Reatha Mae Mayers

Mrs. Reatha Mae Mayers, formerly of 2648 SC Hwy 34, Pomaria, SC entered into eternal rest on Thursday, April 25, 2019 at White Oak Manor Nursing Home-Newberry, SC. She was born in Pomaria on February 7, 1937 to the late Mr. Willie Albert Suber and the late Mrs. Essie Lee Williams Suber.   

Reatha was a member of Saint Mark A.M.E. Church in Pomaria where she served on the Missionary Society. She was also a member of the Woman’s Home Aid Society Lodge #5.

She was predeceased by one son, Willie Earl Holman; one brother, Eldridge Suber and two sisters, Cora Lee Cunningham and Betty Ann Bowers.

Those who celebrate her life and cherish precious and loving memories include one son, Tony Holman (Kathy) of Little Mountain, SC; four grandchildren, Taketia Davis (Corey, Sr.), Tameika Francis (Jerome), Shantazha Holman and Trenton Clark; four great grandchildren, Corey Davis, Jr., Kingston Davis, Kyleah Hill and Rio Clark; one brother, Mack I. Suber (Nancy) of Linden, NJ; one sister, Doris Jean Counts (Tyler) of Roselle, NJ; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The family will receive friends at the home, 2648 SC Hwy 34, Pomaria.

Funeral services and burial will be held 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 30, 2019 at Saint Mark A.M.E. Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
