Ms. Stella Ann Thompson

Ms. Stella Ann Thompson of 2005 Ola Street, Newberry, SC entered into Eternal rest on Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at Lexington Medical Center in West Columbia, SC. She was born in Newberry County, SC on April 19, 1960 to Mrs. Frances Thompson Elkins and the late Mr. James Elkins.

She was predeceased by a sister, Shirley Thompson.

Those who celebrate her life and cherish precious and loving memories include her mother, Mrs. Frances Thompson Elkins of Newberry, SC; three sons, Dantoni Thompson (Kizzy), Dectovias Thompson and Ricky Tyreck Bates, all of Newberry, SC; two daughters, McKindra Sheree Thompson Caldwell (Sherman) and LaShonda Thompson, both of Newberry, SC; 7 grandchildren including one grandchild, Terence Wicker, Jr. reared in the home; two brothers, James Richard Elkins and Curtis Elkins, both of Newberry, SC; four sisters, Connie Frances Thompson of Columbia, SC, Ruby Davis (Michael), Dorothy Elkins and Glenda Elkins; six aunts; and a host of nieces including two devoted nieces, LaKesha Thompson and Makeia Thompson, nephews, cousins and friends including two devoted friends Debbie Robinson and Mitzi Ruff.

Funeral service will be conducted 12:00 noon Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at Saint Matthew Baptist Church, 61 Boundary Street, Newberry, SC (viewing one hour prior to the service). Burial will follow in Fellowship Baptist Church Cemetery in Pomaria, SC.
