Mr. Andrew L. Edwards, the beloved son of Thomasina Thacker Stewart and Mr. Andrew Long, was born on August 25, 1982, in Newberry, SC, and entered eternal rest on February 03, 2025.
Mr. Edwards was a hardworking man at Caterpillar. He loved fishing and remained a cool, laid-back dude. His kids and family were everything to him. “Ya Dig” was his favorite saying! He was the rock of the family, always loved his music, and kept a smile on his face.
Mr. Edwards was predeceased by his oldest daughter, Baby Girl Nance, Mother of his children, Timekia Nance, Brother Thomas “Skeet” Culbreath, and Mr. Freddie Lee Edwards.
He is survived by his beautiful children Andaiysa (Curtis) Edwards, Anzyia Edwards, Anlayshia Edwards, Makaitlyn Austin, Andreuna Edwards of Newberry, SC; sons Demarcus Willingham (Bree), Christian Joiner (Kayla) of Newberry, SC; a devoted friend Shawanna Locks, three sisters; Tamika (Patrick) Kerns of Saluda, SC, Tiffany Culbreath of Newberry, Rebecca (Mark) Johnson of Clinton, SC; eight brothers Corey Edwards of Columbia, SC, Detavia Hill of Clinton, SC, Thomas Johnson, Cedrick Culbreath, Edrick Culbreath, Dexter Gary of Newberry, SC, Daniel Lewis of Anderson, SC and Timothy Hill ( Clinton); Three grandchildren Curtravion Graham, Kailyn, and Khaza Joiner. Devoted sister-in-laws, Stephanie Davis (Randy), Lisa Nance, Timwanda Nance of Newberry SC, a dedicated nephew, Oderrious Nance, a devoted mother-in-law Lucille Nance and other loving relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held 1-5pm Friday February 14, 2025, Wilson Funeral Home Newberry, SC.
Services will be held 12pm Saturday February 15, 2025, St. Matthew Baptist Church, Newberry, SC.
