Barbara Jean (Brown) Sims

Mrs. Barbara Jean Brown Sims was born July 1, 1958 in Silverstreet, SC to the late Matthew Brown Sr. and the late Hannah Washington Brown.  She entered eternal rest on March 21, 2021.

Barbara Jean was predeceased by her husband Willie Fred Sims. 

She was a dedicated member of Little River Baptist Church.  Barbara Jean was formerly employed by Kyzer Roth in Prosperity, SC and was a graduate of Newberry High School.

She leaves to cherish precious and loving memories a brother; Matthew (Thomasena) Brown Jr. of Newberry, SC, a sister; Lucretia Strother, three nieces; Sharon (Patrick) Holloway, Takeela Kinard, and Jessica (Johnnie) Wilson, one nephew; Reginald Strother, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Viewing will be held Sunday, March 28, 2021 from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm at Wilson Funeral Home.

Funeral Service will be held Sunday, March 28, 2021 at 3:00 pm at Wilson Funeral Home.

The family request that all wear mask and observe social distancing.
