Billy Davenport Obituary

Billy R. Davenport of South Bend, IN passed away on Wednesday November 25, 2020.  He was born on Jully 11, 1962 in Newberry, SC to the late Bennie L. and Lizzell Scurry Davenport.  He was a resident of South Bend since 2008.  Billy was a U.S. Army veteran, a wonderful father and family man and an avid Dallas Cowboys fan, who will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him.  He worked as a service technician and worked in the Industrial Refridgeration industry for 30 years.

He was preceded in death by his brothers David, Richard, and Jessie.

Billy is survived by his daughters; Ashley Davenport of Spartanburg, SC, Namaya Davenport  of South Bend, IN, a son, Cameron Davenport of South Bend, IN, a grandson, Kayden Davenport of Spartanburg, SC, a sister, Lizzie Davenport of Newberry, SC, brothers; Bennnie Davenport , Randall Davenport, both of Newberry, SC and Robert (Renee) Davenport of Philadelphia, PA, aunts, uncles and a host of other family members and friends.

There will be a funeral service 1:00 pm Saturday December 5, 2020 at Wilson Funeral Home.  Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm Friday December 4, 2020 at Wilson Funeral Home.

The family will be receiving friends and have a repass at 1826 Brookside Manor, Newberry, SC
