With heavy hearts and profound gratitude, we celebrate the extraordinary life of Charles L. Graham—a devoted family man, cherished friend, and pillar of his community
He was born September 30, 1949, in Newberry County. He entered into eternal rest on February 11, 2026. Charles Levarn Graham was a committed Christian and a lifelong member of Little River Baptist Church until his health declined. Charles was more than a familiar face; he was a source of comfort, kindness, and unwavering support to all who knew him. His journey began as a proud graduate of Gallman High School’s Class of 1968, and continued at Voorhees Technical College, where he honed his skills and earned his degree in plumbing. But it was his generous spirit and willingness to help others that truly defined him.
He worked at Champion International for more than 10 years before joining the Water Treatment Plant of Newberry County. He retired from Kraft Heinz in 2014. While maintaining gainful employment, he served the community by providing plumbing services.
Charles found his greatest joy in the simple pleasures of life. He was an avid fisherman, a motorcycle enthusiast, and found peace in farming. A dedicated sports fan, he could often be found cheering—loudly and proudly—for his favorite teams, the Pittsburgh Steelers and the South Carolina Gamecocks.
Charles was the beloved son of the late Dennis Graham, Sr., and Mary E. Graham. Charles Graham is survived by his devoted wife, Mary Jane Graham, his children Acquanetta (Clabie) Edmond, LaTravis Graham, and Quentin Graham. His legacy continues through his grandchildren: Aniyah Hawkins, Courbin Graham, Zimaya Baxter, Makyah Graham, Cameron Graham, and Clabie (Lori) Edmond, Tyra Fair, as well as his great-granddaughter, Noemi Edmond. Charles was also a cherished sibling to Molly(deceased) (Allen), Dennis (deceased) (Melinda), Ella (James), Debra (Jerome), and Beverly (Calvin). His extended family included in-laws Mary Gilliam (Wallace), Patricia Williams (deceased), Jesse Moton (deceased)(Fred), and Darlene Williams. In addition, Charles is remembered by many aunts, nieces, nephews, and friends who will sadly miss him.
The legacy of Charles L. Graham is one of love, generosity, and steadfast devotion. His memory will forever be a guiding light for his family and all whose lives he touched. Though he is deeply missed, his spirit lives on in the stories, laughter, and love he shared. We honor him not only for what he accomplished, but for the way he made us feel—valued, supported, and loved.
