Cynthia Reeder Obituary

With deep love and heartfelt remembrance, we celebrate the life of Cynthia, who was born on August 14, 1962, in Plainfield, New Jersey. She departed this life peacefully at her home in Stockbridge Georgia, on November 29, 2025.

Cynthia was a devoted lover of church and gospel music, a passion that shone brightly throughout her life. In her younger years, she joyfully lifted her voice in song as a member of the Mount Olive Baptist Church choir in Plainfield, New Jersey.

In 2012, she was baptized and became a proud member of Pine Pleasant Baptist Church in Ninety-Six, South Carolina. While residing in Stockbridge, Georgia, she faithfully attended New Life Christian Church until her health no longer allowed her to do so.

Cynthia had a remarkable love for driving, a passion that naturally guided her into a fulfilling career as a bus driver for more than 20 years. Behind the wheel, she was confident, skilled, and patient, qualities that made her exceptional at what she did. She took great pride in her work and truly enjoyed serving her community, transporting passengers safely and faithfully each day.

Vibrant, joyful, and full of spirit, Cynthia lived life with a radiance that touched everyone around her. A true lover of music, Cynthia especially enjoyed the rhythm and soul of house music. Dancing, singing and sharing moments filled with laughter were among her greatest joys. Whether at gatherings or a quiet get-together, Cynthia was the heartbeat of every room, always the life of the party.

Family and friends were the center of her world. Cynthia cherished every moment spent in the company of loved ones, creating memories filled with warmth, humor and love that will be treasured forever.

Cynthia leaves to cherish her memory: Son, Tyreek Reeder (Crena Mitchell-Reeder) Granddaughter Heaven Ayana Reeder, Great Granddaughter Mu’lani Middlebrooks, special Friend Michell Moore, Mother Anna Reeder, Brothers Anthony Reeder (Sharonda Reeder), Garry Reeder, Sister Robin Reeder-Mosley (Frank Mosley) Sister Cousin - India Nelson (John Nelson), Nephews- Gary Reeder Jr, Dante Harvey, Bryant King, Nieces- Niyah Pinnock, Bianca King, several Great Nieces and Nephews and a Host of Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.
