Darnell Brown

Darnell "Pop" Brown; 67 of 2416 Sunset Boulevard, West Columbia, SC (Millennium Post Acute Rehabilitation) departed this earth on September 01,2024 at Prisma Health Richland Hospital. Darnell was born in Newberry County SC on October 01, 1956. Darnell was employed with ISE in Newberry SC as a truck driver. He is predeceased by his parents: Ernest and Bessie Mae Davis. He is also predeceased a brother: Anthony Leroy Boyd.

Mr. Brown is survived by one loving son: Darnell Leon Brown Jr. and one grandson Jarmell Brown and a devoted friend, Dorothy Brown.

He is also survived by his siblings, who loved and cared for him tremendously: Irene Davis, Ernestine Gallman, Rickey Davis, Ossie Davis, and Sheila Goggins and one brother-in-law, Billy J. Goggins. He is also survived by a loving aunt: Delores Eggleston, and two caring cousins: Ossian and Robert Satterwhite. Mr. Brown has a host of nieces and nephews that love him dearly and will miss him deeply. "Pop Brown" will be sorely missed by his compassionate and loving staff at Millennium; whom he loved as well.

Memorial Services will be held Saturday 12 Noon September 7, 2024, Wilson Funeral Home Newberry, SC
