Mrs. Ella Mae Wright (Glasgow), born in 1925 to James and Carrie Glasgow, passed away December 6, 2020, at the age of 95, at Walter Reed Convalescent Facility in Gloucester, Virginia.
She was predeceased by her parents, James (Doc) and Carrie Glasgow; husband, William D. Wright; son, Linwood Wright; and 14 sisters and brothers; Mack, LC, Bud, Leola, Ollie, Ethel (Aunt Chris), Doretha, Willease, Bill, Pughes, Nezzie; two at birth; and two grandchildren; Eric and Doretha Wright.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Dalean W. Clark of Hampton, Va.; her son, James L. Wright of Pomaria, SC; ten grandchildren, Ricky, Tammy, Glendora, Dinette and Jamie Wright of South Carolina, David Wright of Durham, NC, Anthony Israel and Javone Israel Oliver of Hampton, Va, Kisha Shelton and Latoya Bonapart of Maryland; 25 great-grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren.
Death is just a gateway that all must pass through, and on the other side of death is a world that’s bright and new. Our loved ones wait to welcome us to that land free from tears where joy becomes eternal and time is not measured by years.
Mom, we miss and love you, forever in our hearts.
