Felicia Renee Cook- Peters was born August 27, 1961 in Washington, DC to Mrs.Rosa Cook and the late Jerry Cook.
Felecia departed this life and gained her wings on April 11, 2023. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Felicia attended elementary school in District of Columbia. She graduated in 1979 from Wakefield High School in Arlington, VA. She subsequently completed her college studies.
Later in life, Felicia met and married the love of her life, Reginald Peters. She moved to his hometown Norman, Oklahoma. While living in Norman, she became a member of Quest Church of Norman where she volunteered for various organizations. Felicia worked for Red River Youth Academy as director of Human Resource. Her worked family loved her and will miss her dearly.
Felicia was preceded in death by her father, Jerry Cook; sister, LaTonya Cook; and grandmother, Margaret Haynesworth.
Felicia leaves to cherish her precious memories: her lovely mother, Rosa Cook; son, Jonathan Peters; two grandchildren, Tru and Janessa; three brothers-in-law, Anthony Peters, Terry Peters (Arva), and Karl Peters; two sisters-in-law, Regina Steward and Jana N. Peters-Humes, one aunt, Sarah Cook; two uncles, Ronald Wells and Richard Jones, Sr.; Godmother, Ruth Grady; Godbrothers, Anthony and Darryl Grady; first cousins, Sylvia Nance (Johnny), Euconfra Cook Corbit (Gordon), Jacqueline Dominick, Leroy Cook, Jr., Richard Jones, Jr., Darin Davis, Aavery Cook (Melanie), Tigerron Wells (Christine), and Frederick Cook; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Memorial Services for Felicia Renee Cook- Peters will be conducted on Saturday, May 20, 2023 at 2:00 pm in the sanctuary of Pleasant Grove A.M.E Church, Newberry, SC 29108.
