Franklin Dell Hayes

Franklin Dell Hayes, 39, of Newberry, passed away on September 12, 2025.  Born on April 3, 1986, in Newberry, he was affectionately known as “Bubba” by his family and friends.

Bubba was the son of the late Linda Hayes Swygert and maternal grandparents Dock Braxton and Joyce Jackson Hayes.

Bubba is survived by his daughter, Teagan, who brought much joy to his life;  stepfather Kenneth Wayne Swygert;  brothers Lindsey (Kerry) Stribble of Little Mountain, Michael (Allison) Stribble of Newberry;  sister Jamie Stribble of Suffolk, Virginia;  step sister, Ashley Swygert of Newberry;  nephews Colin Stribble, Landan McCoig, Blake Stribble, Braeden Murphy, and Eli Swygert;  nieces Maddy Stribble and Erin Murphy;  aunts Patricia Tiffner of Gilbert and Donna Hayes of Lexington;  cousins Kristopher McLeod, Kayce (Brian) Shealy, Hailey (Webb) Atkinson, Erik Little and several second cousins.  

Memorial Service will be held 10am Tuesday September 30, 2025, Newberry Memorial Gardens.
