Glenda F Williams

Ms. Glenda Faye Williams, beloved daughter of the late Simpson and Eula Glenn Gary was born July 9, 1955 in Newberry, SC.  Glenda entered eternal rest on Sunday January 30, 2022 at Newberry County Memorial Hospital.

Glenda was predeceased in death by a brother, Willie James Gary; and a sister, Mary Gary.

Those who cherish precious memories include one son, Antonio Gary; two daughters, Latonya Williams and Sandra Williams (LaNancy) of Newberry, SC; four brothers, Freddie Gary, Robert Gary, Ray Gary (Janice) of Newberry, SC and Melvin Gary (Denise) of Pottstown, PA; two sisters, Eula Mae Rivers of Newberry, SC and Lilly Pearl Moody (Anthony) of Hickory, NC;  four grandchildren, Quallett Suber, Kentravious Cannon, Tobias Boyd and Latasia Chapman all of Newberry, SC; two great grandchildren, Ameriy’na Suber of Salem, NC and Ja’Kai Perry Suber of Newberry, SC; one devoted friend, Mary Houston of Newberry, SC, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who grieve her departure, but rejoice that she is now with the Lord.

Visitation will be held Thursday, February 3, 2022 from 2 pm to 6 pm in the parlor of Wilson Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held 11 am on Friday, February 4, 2022 in the chapel of Wilson Funeral Home. Min. Nerissa Griffin, eulogist, Rev. Jacqueline Sims, presiding and Rev. C.W. Wilson, assisting.
