As Haskell continued to look up, I knew he was communicating with GOD. As he looked, I told him to look to the hills from whence cometh his help. Then I reminded him that his help cometh from the LORD which made heaven and earth. He would not suffer.
Haskell entered into his eternal rest on Friday, June 13, 2025. He was born May 20, 1963, to Mr. Robert Whitmore Jr. and the late Barbara J Flemming Whitmore, in Newark, NJ.
Haskell attended New Jersey Central High School until the 11th grade. Haskell was also a mechanic, DJ, and EMT. He worked for the Newberry Council on Aging. He was also a truck driver in the 90s. His first job was with SYEP in NJ as a teenager.
Haskell was a great athlete and enjoyed bodybuilding in his younger years of the 80s. He grew up in the church until he later converted to Islam. Haskell loved his family and friends. He was a people person.
He was preceded by his son, Quadir Hassan, his mother, Barbara JF Whitmore, and his sister, Lucinda Whitmore.
Haskell leaves to cherish his children, Sharonda, Terrell, Quadir, LaTisha, and Quamir. His stepdaughter Ayesha. He has sixteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Three brothers, John, Robert III, and Morrell, two sisters, Barbara and Queenie. And a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral Service will be held 2pm Friday, June 20,2025 at St. Paul AME Church in Pomaria, SC
