John Henry Farrow

Mr. John Henry “Bro” Farrow of 47 Green Aces Road, Silverstreet, SC entered the arms of Jesus on October 16, 2021 at his residence.

He was born in Chappells, SC on August 12, 1948 to the late Marvin Farrow Sr. and Bessie Boston Farrow. He was raised in the loving home of his parents. 

“Bro”  was very humble, an avid Cowboys fan, and loved helping everyone. He enjoyed seeing his family, especially his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. 

Mr. Farrow was baptized at Scurry Spring Hill Baptist Church at an early age and was a member of the Sons of Aid Lodge #57.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Marvin Farrow Sr. and Bessie Boston Farrow, one sister; Daisy Mae Byrd Farrow and one brother; Tommy Gene Farrow.

Celebrating his life and cherishing his precious memories are his wife; Doris Elizabeth Farrow, two sons; Christopher Leon Farrow of Clinton, SC and Terrance Rasheed Farrow of Laurens, SC,  two daughters; Regina Sanquenita Farrow of Clinton, SC and Tynika Nicole Farrow (Alfonso) of Spantanburg, SC,  three brothers; Marvin Farrow Jr. (Dorothy) of Chappells, SC, Ossie Bee Farrow of Chappells, SC and Roosevelt Davis (Sue) of Greenwood, SC, five sisters; Bessie Lee Farrow and Roberta Farrow of Silverstreet, SC, Loretta F. Settles (Leroy) of Edgefield, SC, Lozetta F. Peterson (Terry) of Chappells, SC and Mary Alice King Chamberlain of Greenwood, SC, three sisters in-law; Mary Bluford, Jeanette James (Elroy) and Barbara Willis (Kirk), two brothers in-law; Bruce Farrow of Greenwood, SC and Raymond Carwise of Cross Hill, SC, nine grandchildren, four great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 20, 2021 from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Wilson Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Thursday, October 21, 2021 at Wilson Funeral Home.  Internment will follow at Scurry Spring Hill Baptist Church cemetery.
