Mr. Joseph Keith Stalley, affectionately known as “Jo Jo,” 72, was born April 19, 1953, to the late Elliott Stalley and the late Amilita Stalley in Manhattan, New York. He transitioned into eternal rest Friday, November 28, 2025, at the Lexington Medical Center, Lexington, SC.
Joseph was a member of Old Beaver Dam Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Carolyn Gatling; his niece, Dawn; two brothers, Claude and Elliot (Javaka).
Joseph leaves to cherish his memory, significant other Sarah L. Penny; four stepdaughters including one devoted step daughter Shirley Brown, Regena Brown, Mary Jackson, Stephaine (Chris) Brown, Julie (Willie) Cunningham; one stepson James Brown; his eldest sister Elizabeth two great nephews Leon Greathouse; and Mustafa Zeigler; three great great-nieces Nazare, Amira, Zion and one great great-nephew Khaliq; one niece Kimberly, two nephews Claude Jr. and Kenneth. In addition, Joseph leaves to cherish his memory a devoted friend, Deacon Peter Suber, a host of grandnieces and grandnephews, and friendships in all walks of life.
Visitation will be held 1-5pm Saturday December 6, 2025 Wilson Funeral Home Newberry, SC.
Funeral Services will be held 1pm Sunday December 7,2025, Old Beaver Dam Baptist Church Newberry, SC.
Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery.
Family will receive friends at Regency Woods Apartments, 2061 Smith Rd, Newberry, SC Apt 2.
