Lady Vivian Miles Obituary

Lady Vivian Denise Miles was born on May 12, 1967, in Camden, New Jersey to Woodrow Miles and the late Veronica Jackson. Vivian was united in matrimony to Mathias L. Thomas on October 5, 1987.Vivian departed this life on April 14, 2021 succumbing to her fight with cancer. She is preceded in death by her brother Lawrence Thomas (Larry) Miles. Vivian was educated in the Camden City School System. She was a Majorette for Camden High School. To further her education, Vivian attended several trade schools, graduating from the Omega Institute and Harris School of Business. To acquire additional training in a field that would allow her to pursue her passion of assisting people and making a difference in their lives, she decided to attend the Thompson Institute where she received her Medical Assistant certification. She worked for several years as a unit secretary for the Family Development Program in Camden, New Jersey. Vivian was the First Lady of Community Outreach Fellowship and Deliverance Ministries, Inc. since the opening of its doors in November 2014. Vivian loved her family and cherished her children. She made sure they were well provided for, especially when it came to their attire. Whenever you saw her children, you knew they had a loving mother who cared for them deeply. Although Vivian gave her children things, she desired for them to enjoy, she also taught them the value of having a dream and pursuing it with everything they had inside. Vivian instilled in her children the importance of obtaining a good education and that with hard work and time they would be successful in life. She taught them to never, ever give up. Quitting was not in her nature. Vivian enjoyed playing games on her phone. She loved to sing and dance. She would often share stories of the parties her family held with everyone dancing, singing, and having a good time. Vivian took pleasure in listening and dancing to a wide range of music from Frankie Beverly to Beyonce’. She would fill the house with a calm and soothing presence while waiting for her beloved husband to come home. When he entered through the door, her infectious smile would light up the room letting him know he was her true love. Her husband adored her. He pampered her. She truly was his one true love.
