Mrs. Lucille Wallington affectingly know by family and friends as "Koot" was born March 15, 1939 in Blair, South Carolina to the. late Gilbert Robinson and the late Maggie Jackson Robinson. She departed this life and entered into external rest on August 2, 2020.
She was a member of Gethsemane Baptist Church, where she was a member of the Ladies Home Aid Society and the Sympathy Club. Lucille attended Fairfield County Public Schools.
She was preceded in death by her husband Howard Wallington, one brother Lawrence Robinson and two sisters Edna Duncan and Willie Chaplin.
Those who celebrated her life and cherish; loving memories include four sons Mr. Perry Robinson (Joyce) of Winnsboro, SC, Johnny Trapp and Mikel Trapp (Cynthia), Blair, SC and Curtis Trapp (Brenda) of Newberry, SC; three daughters Cathy Wilkes of Columbia SC,, Christina Holman and Donna Smith of Blair, SC; 13 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; two brothers, James Thomas Robinson (Pauline) of Greenville, North Carolina and Herman Robinson (Bessie) of Pomaria, South Carolina; two sisters in law Alice Werts of Columbia, South Carolina and Janie Williams of Blair, SC; one great uncle, Roosevelt Jackson; one greataunt, Marie Robinson and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Viewing for the public will be from 2:00 p.m. till 9:00 p.m. Wednesday August 5, 2020 at Wilson Funeral Home.
** A private funeral service will be held at Wilson Funeral Home for immediate Family only at 11:00 am August 6, 2020
Burial will follow at Gethsemane Baptist Church Cemetery**
