Mr. Calvin Conell Cohen

Mr. Calvin Conell Cohen entered into eternal rest on Thursday, December 27, 2018. He was born in Newberry, SC on March 19, 1959 to the late Mr. Sonny Cohen and the late Mrs. Emma Mae Fielding Cohen.

He was a member of Miracle Church of God in Christ in Clinton, SC.

Mr. Cohen was a veteran of the United States Army.

He was predeceased by one brother, Larry Cohen.

Those who celebrate his life and cherish precious and loving memories include his daughter, Latasha Saddler of Clinton, SC; four grandchildren, Kimberly Combs, Dawoud Islam, Jr., Tyra Henderson and Jaiden Gilliam; two great grandchildren; De’Avion Combs and Braeylen Combs; sister, Audrey Rivers (Everett) of Saint Matthews, SC; two aunts, Rosetta S. Elmore (Rev. Willie) and Ella Mae Williams, both of Newberry, SC; great aunt, Mary Edna Smith of Newberry, SC; and four nieces, five nephews, cousins and friends, including a devoted friend, Eula Rivers and devoted caregivers, the Williams family and Terrence Boyd.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 31, 2018 at Saint Matthew Baptist Church, 61 Boundary Street, Newberry, SC (viewing one hour prior to the service). Burial with Military honors will follow in Fort Jackson National Cemetery.
