Mr. Charles Williams

Charles Williams, 85, of Blair, South Carolina, was born December 24, 1935 in Newberry, SC to the late Bennie and Nellie Williams. He departed this life and entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, February 23, 2021.

He was a member of Gethsemane Baptist Church in Blair, South Carolina where he was a member of the usher board and The Sons of Gethsemane. He was also a member of Silver Hill Masonic Lodge #128.

Charles was predeceased by four sisters, one brother and a step- grandson.

Left to cherish his loving memories are his wife, Janie Trapp Williams, Blair, SC; daughter, Linda (Paul) Williams, Greenville, SC; son, Ray Austin, Newberry, SC; three grandchildren; Trevis Sims, Lawrenceville, Georgia, 1st Class Shakeem (LaShonda) Koon, Fort Lee, Virginia and Charles (Alisha) Williams of Greenville, SC. Two sisters; Margaret Williams, St. Louis, Missouri and Dorothy Davis, Washington, DC. Nine stepchildren; Andrea (Virgil) Robinson, Pomaria, SC,  Aretha (Larry) Bostic, Frantzetter (Kelvin) Stone, and Ray (Annie) Trapp , Columbia, SC,  Thomasina Jackson, Bradford (Geraldine)Trapp, Carroll (Rhonda)Trapp, Blair, SC, Clarence(Betty)Trapp, Jenkinsville, SC and Alfred (Deborah) Trapp, Greenwood, SC. Five great-grandchildren and a host of step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who will miss him dearly. 

Visitation is Saturday February 27, 2021 from 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Wilson Funeral Home.

Graveside Service will be 3:00 pm Sunday February 28, 2021 at Werts Cemetery.
