Mr. Christopher Fowler Obituary

“When I come to the end of the road, and the sun has set for me. I want no rites in a gloom filled room Why cry for a soul set free?”

Christopher Keith Fowler also known as “Foxx/Chris/Speedy” was born January 12, 1967, in the county of Newberry, South Carolina to Mrs. Lonny S. Fowler and the late Cullen D. Fowler. He entered into eternal rest on Thursday, December 22, 2022, at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill, South Carolina.

Keith was educated in the Newberry Public School System and drove the school bus for several years while attending Newberry High School.

He was a worker at his core and started working years before he entered the age of employment. He worked on several farms in the Chappells area as a youth. In later years he was employed by several different industries throughout South Carolina to include but not limited to, Kyser-Roth (Newberry, SC), Louis Rich (Newberry, SC), Amick Farms (Saluda, SC), Carolina Pride (Greenwood, SC), Burns Automotive (Rock Hill, SC) and several additional automotive and mechanical shops in the Greenville and Rock Hill areas.

Keith loved his family and was a true friend to many.  He was a giver at heart and would go the extra mile to help anyone, even to go to battle when necessary for those whom he cared. He was also known to speak his mind and would express his opinion about things, albeit sometimes in a low tone.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, John Ruben Fowler, and a grandmother, Lessie B. Perry Lomax Farrow, whom he spent many summers and school years in her care.

In addition to his mother, he leaves to cherish his memories, three sons: Christopher Fredrick R. Limehouse (Shanna) of Chapin, SC, Anthony K. Fowler and Chazz-Darius Fowler both of Newberry, SC ; brothers: Cullen D. Lomax of Greenville, SC and Elder Dexter L. Fowler(Tikya) of Aberdeen, MD; sisters: Dorothy F.
