Mr. Edgar Lewis Wicker

Mr. Edgar Lewis Wicker was born October 18, 1962 in Newberry, South Carolina.  He was the youngest son of fifteen children.  He departed this life on Sunday, October 3, 2021 at Lexington Medical Center.

Mr. Edgar Lewis Wicker was educated in the public schools of Chapin, SC.  He graduated from Chapin High School in 1981 and retired from Lexington School District Five.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Freddie Lee  and Jessie Lee Wicker, his sisters; Hattie, Geneva and Jonell (Cal) Holley, his brothers; William (Shirley) Wicker and Gary Wicker, a brother-in-law; Eric Dreher.

He leaves to mourn his passing seven beautiful sisters; Mattie Dorley of Sumter, SC, Mary Sims of Columbia, SC, Marian Wicker of Batesburg, SC, Ruby Dreher (Gary) of Chapin, SC, Rebecca Hall (Donell) of Chapin, SC, Annette Dreher (Elemer) of Chapin, SC, Gwenette Dreher of Capitol Heights, MD, two brothers; Charles Wicker (Dot) of Prosperity, SC and David Wicker (Corina) of Prosperity, SC and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and other loving relatives and friends, who will miss him dearly.

Visitation Thursday October 7, 2021 from 2pm to 7pm at Wilson Funeral Home.

Graveside service 3:00 pm Friday October 8, 2021 at Newberry Memorial Gardens.
